What is the Digi-Coat?

Digi-Coat products Our products come in aerosol form and are very easy to use. They are designed and manufactured under license in the UK.
These are coating solutions, which will allow you to make basic surfaces found in the market sublimable. You can apply this coating on surfaces such as wood, glass, stone, ceramics etc... As long as the substrate resists the heat of the press and a certain pressure of course. It is also possible to apply a white coating on an originally dark substrate. For some fragile materials, you can also use the heat-shrink bag to personalize your supports with a simple traditional oven.

Each Digicoat has its own support!

Digi-Coat "adhesion pretreatment"
It is necessary for all smooth surfaces. It will allow a better adhesion of the coating with the support.

Do you want to customize hard substrates with a smooth surface like metal, glass or acrylic? The Digi-Coat adhesion pretreatment is first required to allow the coating to bond effectively to the substrates.

The Digi Coat Opaque white.
It will allow you to add a white background to dark supports

It is used when you are working with dark colored media or media that do not let any light through. You can add a plain white background on which the image will be transferred.

The transparent Digi-Coat
It will allow you to make all white or clear hard surfaces sublimable.

The Digi-Coat clear coating will provide a polymer coating on all white or clear rigid substrates. This layer will allow the sublimation inks to fuse with the substrate. Without this coating, the image will not transfer.

The white transparent Digi Coat.

This product is used for transparent substrates such as glass or acrylic.

The white translucent Digi-Coat is used when working with transparent substrates such as glass or acrylic, where the image must be transferred to the back of the substrate, allowing light to pass through. It will be applied in a second step, after the Digi-Coat clear sublimation coating has been applied. The image will then be transferred through the white coating, so that when viewed from the right side, the image has a white background.

The Digi Coat UV protection coating

The Digi Coat UV protection coating can be applied at the end of the sublimation process (after the image has been transferred), to add a layer of protection against UV rays. Exposure to sunlight over time can cause the image to fade. The Digi Coat UV protection coating reduces the effects of UV image fading.
Used to protect your sublimation transfers from sunlight.
