The Thermobase TB7 platen is a heating platen compatible with all Secabo 40 x 50 cm presses such as the TC7 SMART, TS7 SMART, TPD7 and TPD7 PREMIUM, as well as many older models.
With the new TB7 the heat in a transfer press comes not only from above, but also from below. This results in lower transfer temperatures, shorter transfer times and reduced marks on textiles.In addition, the temperature can be reduced by the second heating plate, which in turn is gentle on the fabric. The heated bottom plate is particularly recommended for sensitive textiles.
Transfers made with a white toner printer and sublimation transfers are also much more reliable, reproducible and of better quality with a fixed heat base plate! The temperature of the TB7 is regulated with its own Secabo controller.
The Thermobase is lightly padded, but can also be equipped with a hard or extra soft mat, depending on the application.

Recommended for toner transfer 

For toner transfers, it is usually necessary to press two sheets (paper/film) and then remove them at the same temperature. This process is much easier and more reliable with a heated lower platen, which gives better transfer results compared to standard lower platens. The new heat press "THE BEAST" does it perfectly with this new TB7 tray. 

Easy to assemble

The heated lower platen TB7 fits all new Secabo heat presses and can also be mounted on quick-change trolleys and sliding carriages, so that smaller exchangeable platens can be used easily.

Particularly suitable for sensitive textiles

The lower heating plate TB7 tends to press at a lower temperature because the energy does not have to "pass through" the textile completely through the upper heating plate. Parallel heating from below therefore protects the textiles.
