What is the DTF?

Everyone is talking about it. This new and innovative technique will allow you to free yourself from many of the constraints associated with other personalisation techniques.

DTF or Direct To Film is a technique for printing on PET film to personalise textile materials. In addition to offering exceptional quality, DTF allows you to print on all types of materials and colours (light or dark, cotton or polyester, silk or synthetic fibres). Forget aboutweeding and cutting (flocking) or pre-treatment (DTG). This technique will save you precious time! It is also the cheapest technique on the market in terms of production costs.

Discover all the advantages of this technique by consulting our dedicated article: What is DTF?

Can I start a DTF?

With the arrival of the DTF, you may have wondered whether you could take up this new technique. Indeed, this technique requires a certain rigour, autonomy, and some basic knowledge in terms of maintenance and technical servicing.

The cost of the equipment may be a barrier for some of you. We also recommend this technique for a minimum quantity of 200 pieces per month.

That's why we are offering a new service: DTF Ready to Press!

With DTF Ready-to-Press you can enjoy the quality of DTF without investing in materials. You can experience the excellent quality of this technique, the elasticity of the graphics or their incredible resistance to washing.

What formats do you offer?

Actuellement, nous proposons 7 formats différents : du A4 au Grand Format. Attention, il y a un minimum d’achat pour les 5 premiers formats.

What is the procedure to follow?

Ordering prints in DTF is quite simple:

Once you have chosen your format, all you have to do is fill in the form with :

- The name of your order

- The file to be printed

- The colour of the textile you intend to personalise

- The processing time you require (1, 2 or 3 working days)

What files can I send?

Preparing the file in advance is essential.

First of all, check the size of your file. Depending on the size you choose, the printable areas change. For example, the A4 format corresponds to a printable area of 21 x 28 cm (not 21 x 29.7 cm).

Then you need to send us 300 dpi files in PNG, TIFF or AI format with a transparent background and Vectorised fonts.

The colour mode must also be suitable for printing and must therefore be in CMYK.

All the technical characteristics of the files to be sent to us are available on the product sheet by clicking here.

What should I do when I receive my printouts?

PRESS!

Your prints arrive on a roll. On your side, you only have to cut out the visuals and transfer them to your textile supports using a heat press.
